The Hesston Steam & Power Show — 4 days over Labor Day Weekend
The museum’s largest event of the year. You’re family will be immersed in a history lesson that is so much fun, you won’t even realize you’ve learned stuff until you leave!

The museum takes on a festival atmosphere. Great food, a flea market, as well extra trains and big machines waiting to educate and enlighten.

Helpful hints:

  • While the activities start at 10:00, you can arrive early to avoid standing in line at the gate.
  • You can purchase admission and train tickets at the gate.
  • Download Event Map (also handed out at the gate on your arrival) to plan your visit in advance.
  • Bring some cash for outdoor festival food vendors, flea market and for the new Family Activity Area.
